The Parks of the People Philosophy

Every time I stand in a wild place, I'm reminded that I didn't create this opportunity.

Someone came before me.

A handful of people had the vision and the courage to protect these landscapes so generations they would never meet could experience them.

Because of their stewardship, I've watched the sunrise over towering cliffs, walked through ancient forests, stood beneath endless night skies, and experienced moments of awe that changed me.

I believe those experiences matter.

Not just because they are beautiful, but because they connect us to something larger than ourselves.

Connection precedes conservation.

When we experience awe, we begin to care.

When we care, we choose to protect.

Parks of the People exists to help people discover the wild places that inspire awe, deepen understanding, and create the next generation of stewards.

So that one day, people not yet born will stand where we stood...

...and feel the same sense of wonder.
